He is very familiar with the third party referral process be it for rent reviews or lease renewals either by written submissions or hearings and attended court hearings on lease renewal events. He regularly liaises with leading Counsel and lawyers in relation to legal issues arising from interpretation of leases.

David is an accredited RICS Arbitrator and Independent Expert and receives appointments directly from the parties or the President of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors to determine issues of rental value. He is a member of both ARBRIX and INDEX and regular attends related CPD training events. He has spoken at internal training days and also at client seminars on lease advisory topics.
